| Home Page  Balkan Hunting Tours Balkan Hunting Tours has been founded by Croatian hunters, fisherman and myself. The idea behind Balkan hunting tours came from my love of Croatia and hunting. I noticed that hunting trips abroad were out of reach for most peoples pockets, so I decided to put together BHT to cater for all budgets. Then I realised that not everyone likes hunting so we now offer lots of other activities, just drop us a line and let us know what you are looking for and we will do our best to organise it for you. As a lot of our hunting and fishing locations are situated close to tourist resourts and places of historic interest, we also thought it would be a good idea if we offered family packages, as I found that with these kind of holidays the rest of the family felt like they were missing out, so when you are hunting in the stunning mountains or fishing in the adriatic sea why shouldn't the rest of your family be enjoying the stunning beaches or a guided tour of some of the fantastic locations available. Then in the evening you can all enjoy time together. Or you can just come alone! The Balkan Peninsula, or (the Balkans)
Extending to the south from central Europe into the Mediterranean Sea, the Balkan Peninsula (colored dark gray) includes the countries of Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, and the geographical/political region of European Turkey.
The frequently referred to 'Western Balkans,' bordering the Adriatic Sea, includes the countries of Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro. Currently we have been specialising in hunting and fishing trips in Croatia but can offer hollidays throughout The Balkan Peninsular region. As most of our game keepers in Croatia have contacts throughout the Balkans. | |

We put our trips together with key things in mind not only a hunt that should stay in your memories forever, but also a chance to socialize with people who share the same passion as you do, sharing experiences enjoying good food and wine, and making friends for life, hopefully ensuring that you want to come back again and again just like your favourite holiday destination. Each set trip is based on budget and hopefully offers everything that you would expect, we can also arrange bespoke trips for specific requirements and group sizes.
We will concentrate on 'Western Balkans,' region which includes Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Montenegro and also Slovenia and Serbia. As this is our main area of expertise we have a varied countyside, including extensive mountain ranges, stunning lowlands and a beautiful coastline with in excess of 1000 islands. If you were to look out to sea from anywhere along the Adriatic coastline, it would be unusual for you not to see a green speck in the distance! Most of the islands, however, are small and uninhabited and there are therefore only 20 or so larger islands which are popular with tourists and that offer unique hunting and fishing oportunities.This means that it is possible to hunt for different types of game, and in different regions, including the islands. On certain islands we can also offer out of season hunts due to certain species being introduced by man and the goverment ordering these non Indigenous species to be culled. There is wide variaty of game one can hunt in this region: including wild boar, brown bear, chamoix, mouflon, and all types of European deer (including roe deer, red deer, axis and the list goes on. |  | |
| | One thing we want to tell you right from the start is that any hunting or fishing operator that guarantees any sort of bag is unrealistic and unprofessional. we do not stock lakes and sea water fishing is exactly that. Ground game is not fenced or penned and released prior to the drive then driven to the stands. All our hunts are exactly that Hunts. For example it is a fact that there are a lot of wild boars and they are driven using armed beaters and dogs. We offer a real hunting experience, and if you are stealthy and have a steady hand sharp eye and a little bit of luck, you will make your own success and that is guaranteed! A few recent examples follow: * On a recent two day trip 20 hunters managed to hit only five boar and missed 6 boar. * On another trip the on the first drive the group managed to bag 18 boar * On another trip over three days one hunter bag 4 boar including 2 trophy boars and another of the hunters didn't even see a boar!
